Kieffer's Cooling Boot puts targeted cold therapy on a hot hoof without water baths or cooling dressings. The bell-shaped boot is made of soft Kiefferprene with a Velcro-lined interior; freeze the gel pads, stick them inside, and fit the boot like a normal overreach boot. An enlarged closing flap adjusts to the individual hoof, and each set of frozen pads cools for up to three hours before refreezing. Veterinarians who tested it rated it valuable for medical use: laminitis therapy, hoof wall corium and abscess treatment, post-shoeing sensitivity, and cooling after hard work. A practical horse care tool to have ready before you need it.
