Webbers are single-strap stirrup leathers that lie flat under the leg, removing the bulky doubled buckle that ordinary stirrup leathers put right beneath your thigh. Riders of Icelandic horse saddles use them widely for exactly that reason: closer contact and a tidier feel on long tolt sessions.
