Bagari Protec Plus Pad with Shims

The Bagari Protec Plus is a German-made corrective saddle pad built around a shim system. All three shim types are included, so you can pad up a hollow behind the shoulder, level a downhill saddle, or pull shims back out as your horse muscles up. That adjustability matters most on horses rebuilding topline after atrophy, or young horses still developing, where fit changes fast.

The pad itself is a light, thin cell material that cushions the back muscles and spine, absorbing shock without putting bulk between you and the horse. Slip-resistant surfaces top and bottom keep the saddle in place, and a built-in nylon relief strip eases pressure along the spine and withers so the horse can lift its sternum and round up freely.
